WOOLAVINGTON WI MEETING REPORT DECEMBER 2017
Our last meeting for 2017 was the usual Christmas party which was well attended.
Seasonal decorations and tables dressed with crackers, party poppers, nibbles and a colourful poinsettia welcomed members to our village hall.
After a brief business meeting we were let loose on the laden food tables to enjoy the delights provided by the committee.
A quiz requiring knowledge of the second verses of well known carols proved that they were in fact not so well known and occasioned much humming of tunes.
The left and right game was again very popular with eleven prizes contained in the wrapping. The twelfth and final one caused much amusement when unwrapped by Eva.
Card bingo was enjoyed and the evening flew past.
Six birthdays were celebrated with cards and beautiful posies.
A large raffle ensured there were several winners. However no one went home empty handed as all members received a small gift together with a Christmas card and programme for the next six months and one lucky person on each table won the poinsettia plant.
