Enigma Pottery
After meeting at the village hall we enjoyed a pleasant drive to Enigma Pottery in Frome.
We were taken to the workshop in the garden where we were all able to sit around a large table. We were given aprons and started work. On a readymade base we placed circles of clay until it was large enough for the pot we wished to make. We then smoothed the clay and decorated our pot, some were painted while others were left natural. The pots would be fired, ready for us to collect at a later date.
After busy afternoon we were served a homemade cream tea on a handmade pottery tea service, while admiring the beautiful pottery items on display. There was also a shop to browse and buy.
Everyone enjoyed the day, and our pots will go on display at our next meeting.
