Sean Clarke was welcomed back by popular acclaim for a day's origami workshop in the village hall for Woolavington WI following his presentation in February when we all made a pretty box complete with lid. With his usual patience and good humour Sean took us through the many steps required to make a vase and as many flowers as we wished to grace it, not forgetting some foliage in the shape of slender leaves.
Despite following the same instructions all the finished vases and contents were as individual as their creators, who were congratulated by Sean on their successful endeavours.
The day was organised by the committee as a free event which included an excellent ploughmans served to all at the lunch break.
It was agreed that this was an excellent way to spend the funds from the annual bursary.
